So my am snack- I had a handful of almonds (good fat), several fresh strawberries, and a low fat mozz cheese stick. YUM! Tasted like a vanilla malt (sort of). I started the day with a whey protein shake, nonfat milk, and a handful of fresh blueberries.

I am hurting a ton, mostly in my lower back which my doctor said is typical with the cysts. Good Morning! Had a really good day yesterday. Weight: 149 (down 2.4 lbs) Mood: Really good, body aching a bit I can do somethings.I am not dead.the doc said limited not nothing, Kimberly Ann!!! DRINK MORE WATER!! I keep saying it, but do not.Р”Сћ. I will check back to see if I met my goals:Р”РЋ. Can't wait for this stinkin' surgery so that I can feel like a normal 40 year-old (**cringe**). Today the kids and I are going somewhere outdoors today.and I will be doing lots of walking.

Plus was always 'out of sight out of mind'.ya know! I love my new fridge deal!!! Yeah me!!! On the middle shelf was always sodas, pudding cups, caramel for apples, ranch for veggies.Salads and fresh things were never a snack because it was too much work to wash and prepare. How easy! I just threw all the ingredients in a bowl and viola.finished! Ok, some of you may be saying, 'duuuuhhhh!'. Last night we went to my brother-in-law's for dinner and I made a salad.

When I was hungry, I grabbed a plate and had a nice arrangement of peppers, celery, and carrots to chomp on. Devin made his cheese wrap snack on his own. Megan made a smoothie the other night for Larry and Devin. I told them that this is where they go when they want a snack. The drawers now contain potatoes and and other fresh items that I use often. I also have a container with low fat shredded cheese with a bag of La Factory tortillas on top for a quick wrap (Devin's new fav snack). The apples and oranges and ready to go as well. Finally, I washed the blueberries and strawberries and put them in another container. I cut up and washed lettuce and placed it in another container. I cut up peppers, cucumbers, carrots, and celery and placed them in a container. The shelves in the middle shelves in my fridge are now the fruits and veggie shelves. Where do you usually keep your fruits and veggies? In the drawers, right? I don't know about you, but I sometimes (many times) have to throw out a bunch of fresh items because we 'forgot' about then in the drawers. After that, I arranged the fridge so that healthy snacks were easy and visible. The whole family can eat healthy, it is not just me. Ok, what I am excited about.I spent a little over 2 hours on Tuesday cleaning out my fridge and cabinets. But, hey, weight loss is weight loss and I am very happy with my 2.6 lbs gone and never to return again!!! Typically my first week on anything, I am perfect. Somethings to look at.#1- I have not been able to really exercise because of my lovely cyst, and what exercise I can do.I didn't and #2- I did not eat well and did not drink as much water all week as I normally do my first week (make sense?). Usually my first week on any 'diet' is at least a 5 lb loss. I was really hoping that my first week would be a big weight loss. Well, here I am on the start of my second week. Good thing about the rain.I did something really cool on Tuesday, and it has helped me a ton.Р”В«ut first, I want to talk about one week down. Plus, I am already feeling very badly about myself because I have let myself go and gained all this weight.so the self-defeated attitude pops up.

Lots of foods that I crave all the time, and I cannot get there in Illinois. Now I am getting ready to go to Jersey to see my family. But really.I should have lost at least 2 lbs. I should have found time to eat right and journal my food. I won't give any excuses, because that is all that they are. Whoops.Life got a little busy, and I did as I always do, put taking care of me to the side.
